News - 1/15/2021
Unlike the past couple of drawdowns, the lake is refilling nicely this year.  As of this writing the lake is only down just over 2.5 feet.  This is good news for all the year-round paddlers out there who have been looking forward to getting back out on the water. With the unprecedented number of projects taking place this year, it is vitally important that shareholders and their contractors remove construction materials from the lakebed as the water comes up, so they do not become a hazard.  We usually end up with some floating woody debris as well. This is partly from sunken debris floating up after being exposed as well as tree branches that have washed in from creeks and storm drains. If you spot some floating debris, please let us know.  We would like to get as many hazards removed as we possibly can before powerboats start launching in the spring.

We usually hold a shareholder forum in January where we lay out our plans for the upcoming year.  Since we are unable to get together in person, we will be trying something new.  Next week you will receive the presentation we would have presented at the meeting.  We will collect questions and comments from you and post them along with responses on the LOC website.  We are excited about the year ahead, so I hope you take the time to read through the presentation.

Of course, if you have issues or questions you would like to discuss with me, please feel free to reach out.  I will always welcome your calls. Please look for our communication next week and take care!
